The Vegas heat is getting better.... Man, does it get hot here! Just got back from a boys camping and rafting trip in Oregon. It was so much fun. We went rafting, camping, we barbequed every night... Just the boys, it was really amazing! It was a trip i really needed. We really take the little things for granted. Things such as the shower or a comfy mattress to sleep on... I went four days without a shower! I jumped in the river everyday but still... In a way it felt really nice.
I was so at one with nature. Sleeping on the ground with an airbag... Listening to all the noises from whatever is out in the wilderness while i slept... It was so rejuvinating. As I lay in my bed in Vegas reminiscing I'm thinking: Wow, this mattress feels SO nice! It's crazy to think that mankind existed only like that... There was no technology, just man and the wilderness. The entire concept of 'money' is one we just came up with. What is money? It's a piece of paper we simply print - yet, it's the one thing that makes the world what it is today. That's kind of sick. Enough life thoughts for one night... Time for me to get to bed. P.S. I'm sure you have all heard that on this trip Phil Laak had a little accident... Yes, it's true he fell off his ATV and screwed himself up pretty bad... But he will be ok and will make a full recovery. It was amazing how good a spirits he was in even when he was in excruciating pain. Could have been me just as easily . Yikes. We are 2 for 2 out of the last 2 boys trips we've had that one person gets hospitalized per trip. Maybe we should take it a little easier!!
